The Brooklyn Bridge and the downtown New York skyline at dusk.
The Brooklyn Bridge is one of New York's iconic structures, built in the 1880s to help pave the way for the unification of city and Brooklyn in 1898. Since it's construction, it has been featured prominently in the story of New York, both in real life, as well as in folklore, books, films and television. Of all the structures in New York that are used to represent and be symbolic of the city, the Brooklyn Bridge is one of the oldest, if not the oldest.
This image is a composite of three images taken at different shutter speeds to be able to capture the full range of lights and darks in the skyline and the bridge.
My name is Zev Steinhardt and I'm a fine art photographer based in Brooklyn, NY. I believe that there is beauty to be captured everywhere. It could be natural beauty, as seen in our National and State Parks, it could be the artificial beauty of our cityscapes or even the beauty in everyday objects such as flowers. I strive to find that beauty and bring it to you.
